This is the same self latching mechanism as for the legacy model. To release the latch from the outside, press the button and turn the handle. It’s intuitive and easy to operate for anyone from the outside. From the inside, pull the release knob and turn the handle.

Fitting the latch requires drilling a large hole in the canopy side rail so the B model latch incorporates a doubler to reinforce the side rail.
